The first thing I want to say is that was a really fun way to question everyone on the readings. I do not think reading a head helped me out this time. I thought when I read Burnett’s proposal I under stood what he was doing, but I was way off. When I read it, I first looked at the framing of his proposal. Then when I went over it to take some notes for the RR that we had to do. I was trying to look at the ways that he was trying to persuade people. I did not pay a whole lot of attention to who he was trying to persuade. The only thing that was sticking out in my mind was the tax payers. For some reason I thought when he said we would be thank full he was telling us we should vote to get this changed. The Other category annoying way through me off big time, I could not even remember what it was about. I have it printed of so I know that I read it, so I will look over it again. I thought it was very hard to think about the answers to the other categories at such a quick pass. When I would try to think of an answer all the different rules would get jumbled up. Sometimes when we would stat talking about the answers as a group I would remember a little. All I can say is way to go Leah! If you end up looking at this think you and great job.
I know what you mean on the reading ahead! I did that too. It is hard to recall after some amount of time! I understood what Burnett trying to say, but I felt that I hard to try and recall it right off the top of your head. I honestly thought the hardest was the Annoying Ways because that one had so many little passages about certain should not do in writing papers. I thought it would be easy with such creative titles, but it really was not. I did have to say that I am really luck that I am good at remember the paraphrase, summary, and quoting things. I feel like that is what helped my group the most. Each one of us had an idea of what it was, and put it together to come up with our finally answer. I did like the chance to steal because it allowed us to see what other groups knew that we did not. If I remember correctly I thougt your group did the best job on the stories. I do not feel that they were bad for you since you seemed to recall a lot about them. I just fekt this allowed the class to see what our strong points are, and what we need to work on. It was great to see everyone's strength in this. I thought you did an excellent job at recalling most of the passages, and that really helped you guys. I hope you have a great rest of the year, and you enjoy your other classes!
